Comic Contest

(PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS FIRST)

After watching a few mumkey jones videos I came across a video where he went through some comics his fans made for a contest. And I thought to myself “hey that’s a pretty good idea, I’m a gonna steal it.” And since a lot of my content is about art I thought it would be a fitting thing to host. I’ll be putting some rules here but I think you get the general idea. I want you guys to make some short comics and I’ll showcase them on this channel.

The first rule is that the comic must be related to my channel in some way. It doesn’t have to involve me specifically. It can be a reference, an old meme, anything that is vaguely related to my channel.

The second rule is that it must be no less than three panels and no more than four. Kind of like a short newspaper comic.

The third rule is that it must be submitted on my DeviantArt account under my journal which contains this rule book.

The fourth rule is that it must be submitted before May 16th

The comic can be made in any image medium. Digital, traditional, photomanipulation, anything goes…but try to make it clear so that I can actually read the thing. You know how YouTube is about more adult content so try to keep the nudity and violence to a minimum, but don’t be too afraid to be edgy. The comic doesn’t have to be comedic, it can have any theme. It also doesn't have to be extremely well drawn to get anywhere, if the comic is clever that can also give you a good chance. I’ll show a bunch of honorable mentions in the video with credit in the description and your username on the screen. The 3rd and 2nd place winners will get 100 and 200 points along with credit. And 1st place will get 800 points and a detailed shout out. If you don’t have a DeviantArt account and want to submit a comic anyway you can do so on my twitter account under my pinned tweet but just keep in mind that you can only be an honorable mention because I cannot give points over twitter. Please do not submit comics on any of my other accounts, I will ignore them. I will also talk about the comics, I may critique some of them, so keep that in mind. Thanks.
